Wabbi is a fitness-tracking and social app for every sport. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can do about it.
Wabbi is operated by Shay Cohen as a sole trader. If you have any questions about this policy, or want to exercise any of the rights below, contact us at support@wabbi.fit.
To run the app: to show your feed, your progress, the people and studios you follow, and the places near you; to deliver notifications you have turned on; to keep the service secure and to prevent abuse; and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to target advertising, and we do not run ads.
If you connect Apple Health, Wabbi reads: workouts, heart rate, active energy. We only read — Wabbi never writes anything into Apple Health.
Workouts you import are uploaded to our servers and stored with your account, so your history and stats are available on any device you sign in on. They are not kept only on your phone.
We treat this as sensitive data. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never used to build a profile for anyone else, and never shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where the law requires it.
You can disconnect Apple Health at any time in Settings, and you can revoke access entirely in the iPhone Health app.
Location is optional, and Wabbi asks for it only when you use a feature that needs it — never at launch.
We use it to show studios, classes and places near you, to let you tag a workout with where it happened, and to record your route if you use the workout recorder. We do not share your precise location with other users; a workout you choose to tag shows only the place you tagged.
You can turn location off at any time in your iPhone Settings. Without it the app still works — lists simply stop being ordered by distance.
Photos and posts you upload are stored on our servers and shown to whoever your privacy settings allow. You keep ownership of everything you post; by posting it you give us permission to display it in the app.
You can delete any post, photo, comment or message at any time from within the app.
We use these providers to run the service, and each receives only what it needs:
Each provider is bound by a data processing agreement and may use the data only to provide its service to us. We never sell your data and we never share it with advertisers.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists.
If you delete your account — Settings › Delete Account — your account and personal data are deleted immediately, along with your workouts, posts, photos, messages and health data. If you signed in with Apple, we also tell Apple to revoke that connection. We may keep a minimal record where the law requires it, such as a record that a report was made.
Everything optional can be switched off from inside the app or from iPhone Settings:
Turning any of these off does not stop you using the app.
Under UK GDPR and GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to certain processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format.
Contact support@wabbi.fit and we will respond within 30 days.
Wabbi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form, and sign-in tokens are held in the iPhone keychain. Access to production data is limited to the operator of the service.
We may update this policy. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email, and the date at the top will change.
